Jamey Hood is quiet in class but highly extroverted on the playground. Her best subjects include originating roles in new plays/musicals (Dot Wiggin in The Shaggs, Playwrights Horizons), broad comedy (Ernestina Money and Dolly cover in The 50th Anniversary National Tour of Hello Dolly! starring Sally Struthers), and the avant-garde (Daisy in The Adding Machine, B-Side Productions). Also excels in writing, having made her debut as a playwright in the New York International Fringe Festival and later produced at Open Hydrant Theater in the Bronx.

After spending nearly a year developing a new community-based blog/forum for B-Side Productions called #BSideCommunity, Jamey has since moved on to further her own studies in the healing arts proving in yet another way that she plays well with others.
